Our Demands

Disruption Until Divestment

Divest from Israeli Apartheid and the Military-Industrial Complex

CU Boulder must immediately disclose and divest from all holdings in weapons manufacturers, surveillance firms, and war profiteers such as Raytheon, Elbit, and Northrop Grumman. These companies are directly complicit in the genocide in Gaza and broader global repression. A full accounting of all financial ties to military industries must be made public, and all contracts with Israeli military-affiliated institutions terminated.

Democratic Oversight of the CU Endowment

The endowment must be governed by a publicly accountable, student-majority body with full decision-making power. This board will have access to all investment records, authority to initiate divestment, and the mandate to align financial decisions with principles of global justice and climate responsibility.

Agitation Until Amnesty

Amnesty for Student Protesters

All disciplinary or legal consequences levied against students for political protest must be immediately reversed. Protest is not a crime. CU Boulder must implement a binding non-cooperation policy with police and federal authorities targeting activists.

Sanctuary Campus Status

CU Boulder must declare itself a sanctuary campus. This includes barring ICE from campus without a court order, providing legal and housing support for undocumented students, and implementing emergency remote learning access for students threatened with deportation.

Defund and Disband CUPD

The campus police department must be dismantled. Its budget must be reinvested in community safety structures—peer crisis teams, mental health services, and transformative justice models. There is no place for militarized policing in education.

End All Student Surveillance

All forms of student surveillance—digital, biometric, and physical—must be ended. Past contracts must be published and terminated. Oversight and refusal policies must be codified, and all future surveillance initiatives banned by student governance.

Resistance Until Return

Reinstatement of Justice-Based Programs

CU Engage, INVST, and ODECE must be fully reinstated and expanded. These programs anchor justice-based scholarship and community connection. Their destruction signals ideological suppression, not financial necessity.

Enforceable DEI and Climate Justice Plans

CU Boulder must establish legally enforceable DEI and climate action plans developed with marginalized communities. Student governance must guide audits, funding, and implementation. These initiatives must be protected by annual review and reallocation power.

These demands are the bare minimum. If CU Boulder refuses, it confirms its allegiance to apartheid, repression, and capitalist violence. A public response is required. Students will not wait silently.
